The surf camp is located 50 kilometers from Lisbon and there are several options for you to get here.
From the airport to the camp
From Lisbon airport as well as from the city center there are several ways to get to the surf camp. The most sustainable option is undoubtedly to use the public bus, which will get you to the coast in just over an hour. The most convenient and fastest option is our shuttle service, which we will gladly organize for you. You will be picked up directly from the arrival hall of the airport.
We also want to work as sustainably as possible here! To avoid unnecessary trips we try to pick up guests together who are arriving close behind each other. This makes the pickup cheaper for all passengers and protects the environment. However, this can lead to short waiting times at the airport, which we will inform you about in the course of the shuttle registration.
Mellow Shuttle
Pick-up from Lisbon airport by our shuttle partner company is possible at any arrival time, but only by prior appointment.
Please inform us about your transfer request at least 1 week before your arrival! We will then confirm the desired pick-up time and tell you the meeting point at the airport.

Public bus
Traveling by bus from Lisbon is the most time consumiing option, but also the cheapest. First, take the subway from the airport to the main bus station “Campo Grande” (take the red line towards S. Sebastião and then change to the green line towards Telheiras). At Campo Grande you change to the bus to ERICEIRA. The drive to our neighboring town of Ericeira takes about an hour.
After your arrival in Ericeira, you just have to change buses in the direction of TORRES VEDRAS and after a short bus ride get off in CASAIS DE SAO LOURENCO. And there you are!
The total cost is about 10 euros.
Taxi & Uber
Directly at the exit area of the airport you will find the taxi stand. The journey by taxi to the surf camp usually takes about 45 minutes.
Price – cab: about € 65.- to € 80.
Uber has a very strong presence in Lisbon and the surrounding area, making it a great choice for getting from the airport to camp.

Rental car
Furthermore, there is the possibility to rent a car directly at the airport to enjoy individual mobility during your vacation.
Especially if you don’t want to take a surf course and plan to explore the whole variety of this top surf region on your own, we recommend this option. Of course, a rental car is also worthwhile in order to be able to explore as much of the country as possible independently outside of the course times.
Travel insurance
No one wants it to come to this, but it can still happen: You have to cancel your long-awaited trip! Whether spontaneous illness, accident or something else unforeseen – the aftertaste is always bitter. Very often also on the financial side.
