Covid-19 Updates Portugal

Currently, there are no restrictions on entering or staying in Portugal. No vaccination or testing records are required and there is no general mask requirement, except for health care facilities.
Cancellation & Rebooking
due to covid-19 disease
We try to accommodate as much as possible all guests who cannot start their booked stay due to an infection with COVID-19. This means a combination of fee-free cancellation and flexible rebooking credit.
A booked stay can be cancelled free of charge up to 14 days before check in, provided that the reason for cancellation is a corona infection. For cancellations less than 14 days prior to arrival, you will receive our flexible rebooking credit. This has the full value of your already booked and paid stay, and can be used for any rebooking at any time. At the time of cancellation, you do not have to decide on a new date. You can move your stay to any time in the future (whether later this year or even next year).

It is now time to go surfing again! Portugal has performed very well and currently stands at a 7-day incidence of 35, making it one of the safest countries in Europe. After a hard lockdown during the winter, we are able to start operations again. The season opening will take place in two phases:
Phase 1 – from 04.04. 2021
In April we can already offer accommodation and catering, but not yet a surf course. Thus, this time is interesting for free surfers who like to explore the surf spots of the region on their own with rental cars anyway.
Phase 2 – from 01.05. 2021
Full operation at last! You can expect the cozy rooms, great surf lessons, fine food and tasty drinks at the bar. Not to forget the magnificent sunsets on the cliff. In short: the full Mellowmove package! Contact us and we will check the available dates for you, and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Clean & Safe
The following points are an excerpt of the measures we take to ensure a safe environment for your surf trip:
- - Reduction of places in the camp for better possibility to keep distance
- - Cleaning and disinfection at short intervals
- - Capacity restrictions in common areas and vehicles
- - Provision of disinfectants and masks
- - Daily disinfection of your rental equipment (surfboard & wetsuit)
- - No self-service buffet - we serve for you at the table
- - Social distancing and masks in indoor public spaces
for the better times
Vouchers
Our “VOUCHER for the better times” is a nice way to support the surf camp you trust in a difficult time. You get at the same time a little anticipation of your next surf trip home or can give a gift to a loved one. The vouchers are of course flexible in time and do not expire. In addition, we add an additional value of € 10, – per € 100, – purchased voucher amount on top.
