A surfing family vacation where everyone gets their money’s worth? Thanks to our tailor-made children’s surf course in Portugal, this dream becomes a reality. In the Kids Surf Weeks, we want to introduce our youngest surfers between the ages of 8 and 11 to the fascination of surfing – in a safe environment, with lots of fun and child-friendly didactics.
While older children can already take part in our mixed course groups with adults due to their cognitive and motor skills, children up to the age of 12 require separate supervision. This is precisely why we are offering a special children’s surf course for the first time in 2025, where children of the same age come together in small groups.
Surfing vacation for the whole family
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced advanced surfer, the Kids Surf Weeks at Mellowmove Surfcamp offer the perfect opportunity for families with younger children to spend an unforgettable time in and out of the water.
While the children gain their first surfing experience in a safe and age-appropriate environment, parents can concentrate fully on their own surf course. The special features for the young surfers: they are taught by a German-speaking surf instructor and can experience themselves in small groups.
A maximum of four children come together in a group. Meanwhile, parents can enjoy Premium Surf Coaching as usual. And in addition to surfing, the camp infrastructure offers numerous opportunities to get together as a family.
The pool area, the cozy courtyard, the spacious indoor area, numerous board games, a retro Wuzzler (table football) and a table tennis table are just some of the amenities the camp has to offer.
